Tippi Seagram is an aging Hollywood actress whose star has faded so much that she's reduced to performing cabaret stand-up comedy at the Fringe Festival. Her sharp tongue, haughty demeanour, and even meaner wit skewers errant Hollywood starlets, Republicans, men, women, relationships, sexuality, PETA, and the audience.

Colette Kendall really morphs into the role of Seagram. Equal parts Norma Desmond, Joan Rivers, and Don Rickles, she effortlessly breaks through the fourth wall, taking great delight in making unsuspecting audience members part of the act.

Rated R for raunchy.

4/5
